Play life to win.

I first started investing in Bitcoin in 2018. So I can be called a late adopter.

But the sure thing is that I started thinking about it three years before.

I had many concerns and it was hard to make that decision, even thou I saw a fund manager on my side making money in not just Bitcoin but other Cryptos.

We were at a conference in Menlo Park, California, United States. I saw his phone and Coinbase account and he had – in my mind, if I recall it right – the amount of 100 thousand dollars or more invested in Cryptos, including more than 10 altcoins.

I can call myself a technology guy, being able to create platforms and online businesses from zero, so I tried to learn the more I could and get into it as an outsider.

To me, it was the future and if I could have just a little part of my savings on it, it could go to zero and it would make almost no difference… however, if it exploded, in the future, that little could increase and be substantial.

Price today.

When you see an opportunity and you have some knowledge of risk exposure, you should make the decision and go for it. So that’s what I did. I went right away to Coinbase to set up an account…

Look…

Then the problems started.

Coinbase, at that time, didn’t have operations in Brazil and I could not use a Coinbase account in the US because I could not be verified by the company. Even thou I had the capital and the will I could not pass that barrier and I didn´t find a way of doing it as a Brazilian.

However, three years later I lost an enormous opportunity to profit but the choice was in my hands again. At that time I could set up an account, start investing a little portion of my capital, and had the opportunity to see real money exploding.

To be clear, I never lost a coin investing in Bitcoin. Later on, I started investing in other Cryptocurrencies and moved on. Later on, we had the first platform members interested and already investing in Crypto in Argentina, Brazil, the UK, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

It pays to be contrary?

That experience paid off.

Change is fast when you are ready for it. But first, you have to compound knowledge and time invested in solidly building wealth.

Of course, there are bubbles but the only important thing is to know how much you can expose yourself and manage your temperament.

Some people start at 1% of their portfolio, some go to 5%, and some get greedy and invest 100% to lose their mind in the future, perhaps.

Others start at 0.5%…

When you own your mind, rationalize, and create knowledge you are ready to create wealth.
