The best is yet to come.

Good morning friends,

This week we start a new series of Podcast episodes. Below are some feedbacks from you.

-Man, it was very good!

-Much better that way.

We used to start Saturday mornings together for years, do you remember? So it was a pleasure to write to you every Saturday bringing new points of view, new ways of seeing the world, who knows… how to act right…

Now, we have resumed this habit and improved the Podcast. As I’m writing to you, our communications here will be on Saturdays from today on.

Saturday morning is calm and excellent! The pace of life is different. We have more time for the things we love to do. We can take more time to our choices… less noise, fewer commitments… more time to ourselves.

Today we go back to the roots. That’s how we started. Writing to you (4 readers) once a week, every Saturday morning while listening to classical music – which inspires me – and keep up seeking to solve 50% of the world’s problems – Just our part.

Well, we went back to our roots in the Podcasts episodes the later week, and now our newsletter is a little bit more like a chat… but not so much (see below)… maybe the spring has arrived, and so we, too, changed with time. To paraphrase one of my favorite quotes, which you may have read around here over…

Life is like the changing seasons. You cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself. Therein lies the opportunity to live an extraordinary life – the opportunity to change yourself. – Jim Rohn

In yesterday’s Podcast, I mentioned sharing a little about how I make decisions and sharing my real-life routine. In our social publication, Fábio, whom I greatly respect, wrote…

– Tell me more about it!

There’s nothing better than capturing what I think is important in business, decisions, success, and people than through day-to-day actions; since not everything in the dictionary means what is written in the dictionary, we need to live, see, feel and move on…

Fábio, Erick, and others, as promised, a typical day in my life…

Diary of Marcelo Marini, September 22, 2022.

6 am – I start the day with my morning routine, which I’ve developed, improved, and continue to polish for over ten years. Then, throughout the day, I perform about 14 habits. From the time I wake up until the time I go to bed. Some of these habits are explained in the Podcast exclusively for subscribers, which we teach privately in our consultations and programs.

8 am – I check what I have pending for today in Omni (Project Management system – I’ve been using it for more than ten years). I respond to H.R. on some matters that need immediate resolution. (MM)

8:30 am – Talk to one of the legal teams about a lawsuit against another national company that did not provide a good service; we have a hearing scheduled for next week. All forwarded! (MM)

9 am – I read the questions received yesterday. They came in response to this email social and private messages. Then we recorded the Podcast that aired on the same day! (F.M.)

10:00 am – I receive a state document from our U.S. legal counsel that I need to sign and return to them. Then I realize they have already sent another copy for digital signature with some partners and friends I admire; I sign and let them know so they can read and do the same, so we move on. (B.C.)

11:00 am – I answer emails, we have a lot of operational deadlines closing in the next week, and I need to check with the teams on how the deadlines are being followed up. I am sending an email to my brother and partner in this company, passing on the access data of our new B.I. (Business Intelligence) system. We are creating plans for our operations in the next six months. Everyone is involved! (All)

Lunch – Special lunch with R.

1:30 pm – I talk to the Producer of an event that R. and I are organizing. I read one of the contracts she sent to us, considered the notes made, and returned to check back the clauses. (M.R.)

2:00 pm – I checked with the financial advisor about our new economic-financial model that is being updated for the next ten years. We have been carrying out this practice since 2012 to make the strategy at the tactical and operational levels sound. (CI)

15:00 – Important appointment with R.

16:00 – I return to the office to dispatch some documents and activities. (CI)

17:00 – Call Legal to clarify doubts about another contract for the private event we are organizing in November. (M.R.)

19:00 – I go to an appointment, a meeting late, the last one of the day. When I get back, I’ll finish my daily ritual.

Next week, I want to recommend some movies and books around here.

More to come,

Keep walking the path.

Have a lovely weekend.

Marcelo

P.S.: We are taking Business and Private consultations again. October’s schedule is still open, which shouldn’t last long.
