Our approach lies somewhere between Thales of Miletus and Tony, while deliberately avoiding Nero’s behavior… today, decision-making is based only on the talesian model of return… this way you repeat, you model, you don’t learn, you don’t understand what you are doing… that’s why prophets have to profit, generally people are not following their wisdom, their objective is solely financial returns.
There are opportunities in farming in real estate, although Wall Street is a great place to find daily mistakes that affect prices and assets, it’s also a place controlled by the news and propaganda… if you look to it, the time you are involved with this kind of news, fear and drama, is the best ecosystem to make you dependent of something else… social media, avoiding life. There’s a different way to look at it… we guess.
We focus on living a good life. That means a 10 minutes maximum of news each day. We know its way better to analyse a company then to read the social media feed, news feed, feeding you with mental issues.
One reader, sent us a great article about the future of farming in Brazil, something we are involved at this for many years, and that reminds me of my speech in the American States Organization in Washington D.C. where I talked about the present-future of modernization in agriculture. The whole thing is having appropriate water and soil. Soil needs water… water depends on heavens not AI.
How would you get feeded in the future? Not by chemicals we bet.
If you reflect on today’s farming, it’s all about profits and it has a price. Look to Agrofloresta, they are way beyond the food industry, and farming. You can’t compare productivity, it’s natural. You give the plant a great ecosystem and the seeds flourish. Some of or clients are involved in this, in 10-15 years they will be the solution, not AI.
Is AI fooling you? Can’t fool you all the time.
